제목 Magnetically recoverable heterogeneous acid catalyst for Biodiesel Production from Waste Cooking oil
초록 Magnetic composite solid acid catalyst was prepared and its Catalytic performance was assessed in Biodiesel production. Na2SiO3 and TioCl2 were used to synthesize mesoporous silica titania composite, then magnetized by using as synthesized Fe3O4 and further impregnated with Sulfuric acid, Characterized by XRD, FT-IR, SEM and VSM. Compound was evaluated for its catalytic activity in the transesterification of waste cooking oils, products analyzed by using GC-MS, which depicted that desired yield of more than 90% can be achieved. Catalyst exhibited magnetism and can be easily recovered and reused.
