Organic photovoltaics(OPVs) have an many advantages including low-cost and light-weight solar panels through roll-to-roll printing techniques. OPVs mainly based on bulk heterojunction(BHJ) of a π-conjugated polymer as a donor and fullerene-based acceptor. In the past a few years, the Donor-Acceptor(D-A) type low-band gap polymer has drawn great attention, as its electronic properties can be easily changed. Among the acceptor units of D-A copolymer, quinoxaline(Qu) derivatives have been widely used ease to band gap control as relatively stable quinoid form and due to the electro-withdrawing properties of the two imine nitrogens. In addition, its electronic properties can be changed with various substituents. In this study, we synthesized quinoxaline-based conjugated copolymers via stille coupling reaction. The synthesized polymers were investigated their properties for OPVs. Especially, we used additive treatments in their devices. It helped fine morphology as better phase separation than without treatments. It resulted in the improved photovoltaic performance. |
