제목 Control of Energy Transfer from Carbazole-based Host to Ir(III)-PEI complex in Spin-Assembled Host/Guest Multilayers
초록 We demonstrated a new approach to make phosphorescence-emitting layers which are prepared Ir-PEI complex/carbazole-based host alternating multilayer films by the spin assisted layer-by-layer assembly method. In multilayered structure, the phosphorescence emission is enhanced by the effective energy transfer from the host to the Ir-PEI complex guests. Furthermore, another great advantage of using this fabrication method is that the emission intensity can be precisely controlled by varying the number of bilayers and the energy transfer efficiency, which is modulated by inserting spacer layer between donor and acceptor layers. Through the careful control of energy transfer from green to red Ir-PEI complexes, phosphorescent emission colors can also be tuned.
