제목 Chain Stretching of Asymmetric polystyrene-block-poly(2-vinyl pyridine) copolymers by Coordination with Metal Chloride
초록 The morphology and phase transition of asymmetric polystyrene-block-poly(2-vinyl pyridine) copolymer [S2VP] coordinated with cadmium chloride [CdCl2] were studied by rheology, SAXS, and TEM. The order-disorder [ODT] and order-order transition [OOT] were increased greatly with CdCl2. Also, the microdomain of neat S2VP was transformed into another microdomain with the addition of CdCl2. This is due to the fact that S2VP chains become more stiffened and stretched vertically to the interface between PS and P2VP.
