Arbitrary-direction Energy Harvesting using Fiber-type Flexible Piezoelectric Nanogenerators consisted of Perovskite PbTiO3 Nanotube Arrays |
초록 |
We report our attempt to preparing new fiber-type piezoelectric nanogenerator (p-NG) devices consisting of radially aligned perovskite PbTiO3 nanotubes (PTO NTs) using hydrothermal method with anodized TiO2 NT as a positive template, which resulted in a PTO-NTs/Ti core shell fiber. The NG device, embedding one or two PTO-NTs/Ti core shell fibers in polymer matrix, successfully generates electrical energy through bending and wind motion. Using a single PTO-NTs/Ti core shell fiber, we present the p-NG devices which exhibit a polarity property indicating their piezoelectricity with output voltage of 620 mV by periodic bending movements, and generation of output voltage regardless of concave and convex bending direction. Moreover, p-NG devices using double PTO-NTs/Ti core shell fibers, which are embedded in cylindrical PDMS mold, are possible to generate the electric potential from all-directions by wind motion. Our results represent a momentous step towards the application of energy harvesting in flexible electronics, portable devices, and mechanical sensors. |
