제목 Dispersion and Interfacial Evaluation of Carbon Nanotube-Phenolic Nanocomposites using Electro-Micromechanical and Wettability Tests
초록 Dispersion and interfacial evaluation plus self-sensing were investigated for single-carbon fiber/phenolic and CNT-phenolic nanocomposites by electro-micromechanical and wettability tests. Optimum dispersion condition of CNT in phenolic matrix was obtained using electrical resistance measurement, and the concentration threshold of CNT-phenolic nanocomposites was investigated by volume resistivity measurement. The electrical contact resistance of CNT-phenolic composites was obtained using a gradient specimen. CNT-phenolic nanocomposites exhibited a higher apparent modulus than neat phenolic resin due to better stress transferring effect. Work of adhesion, Wa between single-carbon fiber and CNT-phenolic nanocomposites exhibited higher than neat phenolic resin.
