제목 Solvent-Free Preparation of Fluorinated Polythiophene Nano-Particles by Supercritical CO2 RESOLV Process
초록 We report a simple method to prepare surfactant-free and solvent-free nano-structured semi-conducing polymers by using supercritical carbon dioxide Recently, we have synthesized highly CO2-soluble fluoroalkyl ester substituted semi-conducting polymers using scCO2 as a solvent. Due to the fluorophilicity of CO2, the conjugated polymer, PSFTE was found to be highly soluble in scCO2 and produced nano size (50-100 nm) spherical particles upon expansion of supercritical solution (RESOLV) in to water or methanol through a small capillary nozzle.
