Silver-Coated PVDF Nanofiber Web as Dry Electrode for ECG Measurement |
초록 |
Much attention has been paid to the application of polymer nanofiber web(NFW) due to their high surface-to-volume ratio, porosity, and flexibility. A novel approach, electroless silver plating on the NWF is adopted to obtain highly electro-conductive NFW suitable for a dry electrode to measure ECG(electrocardiogram). Due to very uniform silver coating on the surface, we could also make silver nanotube by dissolving the nanofiber. In order to get better silver coating on the NFW, we have made several attempts, such as electrospinning of PVDF mixed with SnCl2 as a nucleating agent. From SEM images, silver-coated NFWs were observed. The desirable value of conductivity and ECG could be obtained.
