Gas hydrates are paid attention for a solution to resolve the greenhouse problem. By sequestrating carbon dioxide as a form of gas hydrate, we can reduce huge amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Also, to make this process more efficient, simultaneous process of CO2 sequestration and CH4 expolitation was suggested. With these application basis, microscopic analysis of the carbon dioxide + methane mixed gas hydrate was performed in this work. This kind of microscopic measurements gives much information on gas hydrates and obtained data can be used as a criterion for evaluating the capacity and economy of carbon dioxide sequestration. |
