Simple preparation of Graphene/Polymer Nanocomposite |

While graphene/polymer nanocomposites have been received intensive research interests for the preparation of next-generation automotive, airplanes, etc. most research interests have been paid on the preparation of organo soluble graphene derivatives because most commercially available polymers are soluble or dispersible only in organic solvents. In this study, graphene/polymer nanocomposites are directly prepared from graphene oxide (GO) through the exploitation of mixed solvent system which is favorable both in the reduction of GO and stabilization of chemically reduced GO (rGO) and the resulting rGO/polymer assembly. Through the exploitation of our approach, various graphene/polymer nanocomposites will be prepared and examined on their physical properties. 2016년 한국교통대학교 지원을 받아 수행하였음. |
