Biotransesterification of corn oil in dimethylcarbonate by lipase for the production of biodiesel and glycerol carbonate |
| 초록 |
Biodiesel and glycerol carbonate(GC) are produced from corn oil and dimethyl carbonate(DMC) via biotransesterification reaction by using lipase in solvent-free system in which excess DMC played as the substrate and the reaction medium. Novozyme 435 was effective in catalyzing transesterification of corn oil with DMC. Several variables such as oil/DMC molar ratio, reaction temperature, and by-product inhibition were examined in a batch reaction system. The reaction conditions were optimized to enhance the yield and transesterification reaction rate. |
