제목 BaMoO4 microcrystals for photocatalytic, upconversion and antibacterial application
초록 Ag-BaMoO4: Er3+/Yb3+ octahedron microcrystals were fabricated by microwave hydrothermal process that degraded the Rh B dye within 90 minutes about 99.60%, which is nearly 30 times as compare to the host material BaMoO4. In addition, it degraded the Ibuprofen (IBP) in visible light. IBP photodegradation intermediates were identified by HR-QTOF/MS. The upconverting properties were investigated by loading the silver particles, and doping the lanthanide ions (Er3+/Yb3+/Tm3+/Ho3+) and non-lanthanide ions (K+) ions under 980 nm excitation. The enhancement of upconversion intensity by K+ ions as well as upconversion multicolor tuning were observed. The antibacterial activity of samples, Ag-BaMoO4: Er3+/Yb3 were investigated by visible light irradiation and disk diffusion assay method against Gram-negative pathogenic bacteria (Escherichia coli DH5α and Pseudomonas aeruginosa KACC10232) and Gram-positive pathogen (Staphylococcus aureus KCTC1916).  The bacterial inactivation efficiencies of Ag-BaMoO4-Er3+/Yb3+ samples were 100%, 99.95% and 97.87%  for E. coli, P. aeruginosa and S. aureus, respectively within 2 hours under visible light irradiation. The high killing percentage and superior zone of inhibition revealed the excellent antibacterial performance. The FESEM analyses were used to study the morphology of bacterial cells and the extent of damage. The combination of efficient photocatalytic activity, antibacterial performance, and upconversion luminescence of BaMoO4 make the material suitable for multifunctional application.
