Effect of zeolite for ethylene adsorption and its practical scaled abatement with honeycomb plasma discharge |
초록 |
Removal of ethylene is an important aspect for the elongation of fruits and vegetables (FVs) post-harvest life. One of the conditions in agricultural storage is high relative humidity. So, the selection of zeolite type is essential to ensure effective ethylene removal in non-thermal plasma. For practicability, identification of the cheapest zeolite that displays high performance is required. Moreover, large volume treatment can be achieved using 93mm diameter and 50mm height commercial monolith as a support base. Our work focuses on identifying the cheapest zeolite for ethylene adsorption and commercialization of such zeolite via honeycomb-structured monolith incorporating honeycomb plasma discharge. |
