Pyridine substituted spirofluorene-benzofluorene as an electron transport material for high efficiency blue organic light-emitting diodes |
| 초록 |
Pyridine substituted spirofluorene-benzofluorene electron transport materials which can block hole leakage from the emitting layer to the electron transport layer were synthesized and the effect of the electron transport layer on the quantum efficiency of the blue fluorescent organic light-emitting diodes was investigated. A quantum efficiency improvement by more than 20 % was demonstrated from the blue fluorescent OLEDs with the spirofluorene-benzofluorene derivatives as the electron transport material. In addition, the materials were also effective as a host for the red phosphorescent materials. |
