A series of thiophene copolymers consist of difluoro-quinoxline (5,8-dibromo-2,3-didodecyl-6,7-difluoroquinoxaline) and monofluoro-quinoxaline (5,8-dibromo-2,3-didodecyl-6-fluoroquinxaline) were synthesized by Stille and Suzuki coupling reaction. These polymers have poor solubility in common types of organic solvents. TGA measurement displays that the 5% weight-loss temperature (Td) of these polymers was over 390℃ under an inert nitrogen. A highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) energy level was indicated in the range of -5.28 ~ -5.47 eV. The absorption spectra of the polymers was exhibited in the range of 450 ~ 700 nm. |
