제목 Preparation of sulfonated composite membranes with PVdF and PS for DMFC
초록 PVDF composite membranes were prepared by using the sulfonated PVDF with sulfuric acid and PS crossliked DVB. The various ratio of PS/DVB were used, i.e. 96/4 wt%, 94/6, wt%, 92/8 wt%, 90/10 wt%. It was conformed that PS was filled in the pores of all PS/PVDF(polystyrene PVDF) membranes by the analysis of ATR-FTIR, SEM. It was revealed that all SPS/PVDF(sulfonated PS/PVDF) composite membranes had the similar structures regardless of styrene-DVB ratio, and that sulfone group decreased with increase of DVB. As the content of DVB increased, water and solvent contents and methanol cross-over decreased. It also showed that the water content and IEC were enhanced up to 40~100% and 3~4 times, respectively, than those of Nafion 117. It can be concluded that SPS/PVDF is able to be used for DMFC.
