제목 CQIM을 이용한 유연탄과 무연탄의 연소성 및 경제성 평가
초록 The characteristics of coal,or its quality,greatly influence on power plant performance and overall power generation cost. Proper evaluation of the effects of coal quality variations can be very complex and time-consuming. To provide an efficient ways for conducting these evaluations, Coal Quality Impact Model, developed by EPRI, is used. In this paper, the possibility of using Bituminous-Anthracite blending coal and the influence of this coal on Utility are evaluated on Samchonpo thermal power plant unit 3 and 4 using CQIM. From the result, bituminous coal itself generation cost is 17.03won/kWh and electric generation cost of 30% blended with anthracite coal is 21.28won/kWh. So blended with 30% anthracite coal on Samchonpo thermal power plant, 17 billion won of additional cost per year will be needed. Another problem is insufficient pulverizer capacity, increase of dust and SOx emission, and erosion.
