제목 Robust Coatable Polarizer by using Anisotropic Lyotropic Chromonic Liquid Crystal from the Sunset Yellow FCF
초록 Combining the top-down and bottom-up methods, anisotropic oriented nanofiber mats containing the self-assembled Sunset-Yellow FCF(SY-FCF) discotic nanocolumns were successfully fabricated by electrospinning techniques. From the 2 D wide angle X-ray dffraction(2D WAXD) conbined with differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and polarized optical microscopy (POM), the SY-FCF molecular packing was monitored. And the molecular arrangement was identified by polarized Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) results. Based on the experimental results, it was established that the SY-FCF molecules in PVP/SY-FCF nanofibers created nanocolumns, which were parallel to the axis of nanofiber. 2D WAXD results clearly that the electrospun nanofiber was in a metastable glassy columnar N LC phase.
