In this study, we studied about induction heating behavior of conductive stainless thread. The exothermic mechanism of conductive thread was observed by the induction equation.(P=Aε/el) The specific resistance, cross-sectional area and electromotive force were fixed and the length changed to identify the induced heating equation. And we looked at how the induction heat properties of conductive thread differ from conventional susceptor such as bulk metal. By adjusting the horizontal and vertical distance of the loop and coil, and the output of the induction heating equipment, the magnetic flux density was changed. Consequently, the heating of the conductive thread was proportional to the magnetic flux density. Inductive heating occurs only when a closed circuit loop is formed in a conductive thread unlike a conventional susceptor. Bulk metal heated due to the eddy current induced by electromotive force, but the conductive thread is heated due to the electric current. |
