Introduction of the 4th generation synchrotron radiation source(4GSR) in Ochang and its future development. |
| 초록 |
Recently, a new synchrotron radiation source which will be the fourth generation of SRS was finally endorsed and will be constructed in Ochang for 5 years. The world latest 4GSR has shown picometer emittance size of synchrotron beams, which can facilitate the high performance experiment particularly for the high resolution imaging and high energy resolution of spectroscopic experiments. We therefore have suggested the necessity of new synchrotron radiation source and now it is now on the process of preliminary feasibility investigation on the new project to build a new synchrotron source. In this presentation, the necessities of the new synchrotron radiation source will be introduced as well as the required the specifications of the new synchrotron radiation source. The official project had already begun in order to prepare the government assessment of the new project as a process of the approval from the government. |
