Advanced X-ray Scattering techniques using 4th generation synchrotron |

In the 4th generation synchrotron sources, the exceptionally intense X-ray beams are available with highly coherent and much smaller beam size. This new facility will provide an opportunity for scientific discovery and technological innovation. It also opens unprecedented access to understand and manipulate materials and systems at the nanoscale. In this talk, I present an overview of the advanced x-ray techniques taking the advantages of the 4th generation synchrotrons and compare with 3rd generation synchrotrons and X-ray free electron lasers. |
