Gas Sensing Properties of ZnO Nanorods at Room Temperature Under Continuous UV Illumination in Humidity |
초록 |
High-performance gas sensors at room temperature under continuous UV illumination in humidity were developed from ZnO semiconducting nanorods film depositing on Al2O3 substrate. The ZnO film was fabricated by hydrothermal method following heat-treatment in air for structure stability. The surface morphology and structural properties were examined by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The reducing gas (H2S, NH3, CH4, H2 and CO) sensing properties were examined at room temperature. Under continuous UV illumination in humidity, ZnO nanorods sensors showed significantly improvement in response, response and recovery times. The sensing mechanism of the sensor structure was also discussed. |
