제목 Reflectivity Study of Acid Textured Multicrystalline Silicon Wafers in Different Solutions for Solar Cells Application
초록 In this paper, an attempt was made to reduce the optical loss of multicrystalline silicon (mc-Si) wafer. The texturization of wafer was carried out in acidic solution by controlling the chemical compositions and temperatures. The two different acidic solutions of HF:HNO3:H3PO4 and HF:HNO3:H2O used and examined with respect to the etching time.The minimum (~ 17%) and maximum reflectivity in HF:HNO3:H3PO4 solution obtained by 10 s and 16 s respectively, indicating the smoothness of surface increased with the increase of etching time. The reflectivities in HF:HNO3:H2O solution minimized to ~5%. The reflectivity was reduced by the replacement of H3PO4 to H2O and thus obtained the minimum reflectivity.
