Abatement of volatile organic compounds using a non-thermal plasma and a catalyst |
초록 |
Indoor volatile organic compounds (VOCs) became an emerging problem coupled with fine particulates, threatening our health. Indoor VOCs are emitted from a furniture as well as a construction material such as paints and glues. Also, it comes from outside. To abate indoor VOCs at room temperature, non-thermal plasma and catalyst system was applied. Atmospheric pressure plasma jet was used to activate VOC and generat reactive oxygen species (ROS). Different types of Pt catalysts were applied and compared catalytic oxidation of VOC at room temperature. |
