| 제목 | Production of chemicals that can be used for the synthesis of bio-based polymer |
| 초록 | Production of bio-based polymers has been attracting attentions as global concerns on the depletion of petroleum resources and environmental pollutions increase. Among the various bio-based polymers, polyamide has been received much attention as an engineering plastic for thermal and mechanical property. Gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA) and 5-aminovalerate (5AVA) are the non-essential amino acid, which has recently found its possible application for monomer of polyamide, the biodegradable heat-resistant polymer. In this presentation, detailed strategy for the production of these chemicals by metabolically engineered strain will be discussed. |
