제목 | Aliphatic polyester introduced ionomer for shape memory behavior |
초록 | The investigation of biodegradable shape memory polymers has been grown for last few decades because of its potential to biomedical application. However, the investigation about biodegradable shape memory polymer introduced ionomer has not been reported. This study deals with segmented poly(oxyethylene-b-butylene adipate) ionomers (POBAis), which are aliphatic polyester introduced ionomer. POBAis consisted of soft segment with ionomer acting as frozen point and crystalline hard segment having biodegradability. Sulfonated poly(ethylene oxide) (SPEO) as an intermediate ionic monomer was synthesized in the presence of sulfonated dimethyl fumarate (SDMF) by esterification reaction, and characterized using FT-IR spectroscopy and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. POBAis were sucessfully synthesized by two step polymerization method with ionic monomer. POBAs without ionic group were synthesized by same method to compare with thermal and mechanical property of POBAis. Thermal and mechanical property were measured by using DSC, DMA and the tensile testing machine. The investigation of shape memory property and biodegradability was also performed.
