제목 Dye degradation characteristics of WO3-xFx photocatalyst fabricated by fluorination
초록 Dye containing wastewater contains a large amount of persistent organic pollutants and has a high chromaticity, which causes serious environmental problems such as affecting the photosynthesis of aquatic plants. WO3 has a small bandgap compared with other photocatalysts, it can photocatalytic activity is possible under the visible light. In this study, F was doped on WO3 by thermal fluorination to enhanced photocatalytic activity. Degradation at 20 ppm methylene blue dye, that the photocatalytic activity was improved more than 3 times compared to the untreated photocatalysts, and the band gap was also reduced compared to the untreated photocatalyst. This results shows that thermal fluorination is expected to be an effective and eco-friendly method for enhanced photocatalytic activity.
