제목 Microporous Polybenzoxazole Membranes via Diverse Thermal Rearrangement Routes for High Temperature H2/CO2 Separation
초록 Thermally rearranged polybenzoxazole(TR-PBO) membranes are very promising materials due to their ease in cavity control of the size and distribution. We developed TR-PBOs, for smaller molecules separation through in-situ thermal treatment of poly(o-hydroxylamide)s (PHAs). We also characterized the gas separation performance variations at the elevated temperature from the relationship between the operating temperature and the cavity size distributions. Recently, we have also investigated TR-PBOs from poly(o-hydroxylaminoimide)s (PHAIs). Synergetic effects between permeable part and selective part have considered diverse gas transport behaviors in accordance with PA/PI ratio of precursors. In this study, we will present synthesis of various TR-PBOs from PHA as well as PHAI. Various characteristics have been studied including PALS, and the relationship between the cavity size distribution and the gas transport properties according to various thermal conversion routes, as well.
