제목 PVA/TiO2 nanofibers for effective air filtration and photocatalytic activity
초록 The electrospun nanofibers have several advantages for air filtration such as high specific surface area and small pore size. Poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA) is a water-soluble polyhydroxy polymer and the largest volume for resin produced in the world. PVA is resistant to oil, grease and solvents, however, it has poor physical properties when it is wet, so crosslinking of PVA fiber was tested. TiO2 is a attractive filler for air filters due to its good properties such as reducing the specific surface area of nanofibers, photocatalytic activity, and lack of toxicity. In this study, electrospun PVA/TiO2 nanofiber was prepared and the air filtration efficiency and photocatalytic behavior of PVA/TiO2 filter was investigated.
