Drug-freetissue adhesive, antibacterial hydrogels based on fungal derived carboxymethylchitosan and tannic acid for wound healing applications |
초록 |
Inthe present work, we developed antibacterial, tissue adhesive hydrogelscomposed of fungal derived carboxymethyl chitosan (FCMCS) and tannic acid (TA)within polyacrylamide (PAM) network. The hydrogels have good swelling,mechanical and compressive properties. The antibacterial experiments revealedagainst E.coli, and S.aureus indicated effective killingcapacity. Furthermore, the hydrogels are biocompatible towards skin fibroblastsand keratinocyte cells. Owing to the presence of TA, the hydrogels showedexcellent antioxidant properties. Therefore, drug free antibacterial, andtissue adhesive properties developed within hydrogels have potential for wounddressing for infected wounds. |
