Improved Blood Coagulation with Thrombin Using Injectable Transglutaminase (TG)- crosslinked Gelatin/Hyaluronic Acid Hydrogel Hemostat |
초록 |
In some specific cases of surgery, the body is unable to stop massive blood loss without any treatment. Hence, current approaches including the use of hemostatic agents, which are commercially available have emerged as a solution. However, most hemostatic agents remain ineffective or raise safety concerns. Therefore, synthetic hydrogel serves as a reasonable and promising alternative. In this study, we will synthesize and characterize transglutaminase-crosslinked gelatin/hyaluronic acid hydrogel and investigate its use as a hemostatic agent. |
