Effect of Ni-plating on Electric Conductivity of PET Ultramicrofibers |

In this work, the electroless Ni-plating on PET ultramicrofiber surfaces was carried out to improve the electric conductivity of the fibers. The suface properties of PET ultramicrofibers were characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD).he experimental results showed that the island-like nickel clusters were found on the PET ultramicrofibers surfaces in initial plating state, and the electric conductivity of Ni-plated fibers enhanced with increasing plating time and thickness of Ni-layers on the PET ultramicrofibers. |
