제목 3D 전기저항 맵핑을 통한 탄소섬유 복합재료의 손상감지
초록 Carbon Fiber Reinforced Composites (CFRC) were manufactured using two different resins, epoxy and unsaturated polyester (UPE), by a vacuum assisted resin transfer molding (VARTM) process. The permeability was measured for two composites with the same fiber volume fraction but different viscosities. The interfacial properties of the CFRC, manufactured using tow different resins, were evaluated via the interlinear shear strength (ILSS) test and contact angle measurements. Three dimensional electrical resistance (3D ER) mapping was used to detect damage area caused by the drilling of holes in the CFRC. Typically such drilling results in damage such as delamination, for which the location and extent of damage area was determined using 3D ER mapping.
