Mesoporous ZnO nanopowders were easily prepared by surfactant templating technique in zinc solution. Using the soft surfactant as a porogen, the pores could be developed into the resulted ZnO nanopowder. Further more, the pore size could be controlled by the etching process. The ZnO nanoparticle morphology was investigated by using TEM/SEM, XRD, and BET. The resulted ZnO shows the spherical nanoparticles with mesopores. The porous materials with these structures can be applied in the field of a cosmetic, gas sensor, varistor, and DSSC. |
