A various types of polymer foams are manufactured. For example, rubber foam(NBR, EPDM) and plastic foam(PE, PU, PS, EVA) are manufactured. Polyolefin foams are used in sports, lesiure, automobiles and packaging. However polypropylene has a weak melt strength and melt elasticity. Therefore, these defects makes it difficult to be foamed compared to the other plastics and break down of cell wall. In this study, the degree of foaming and the gas bubbles in waste-polypropylene using the blowing agent and crosslinking agent. The effect of the variables of the process, such as the content of the blowing agent, the crosslinking agent was investigated. |
