One of recent issues in cosmetic industry is new types of form such as re-soluble fiber and sponge, instead of liquid or cream types due to the absence of water in the storage. In other words, it is possible for consumers to be less affected by water as dissolving it in water just before use. In this study, multi-components composed of reactive silicone and fish collagen were used to fabricate the resoluble micro-porous sponge ball for artificial skin with the thin layer on the skin. The addition of reactive PDMS improves the adherence of collagen in the skin by crosslinking. The freeze-dried method was used to fabricate sponge-like formula form. In order to observe the fabricated microporous sponge ball, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) was used. The mechanical properties were tested by universal testing machine, and water sorption ratio was tested by dynamic vapor sorption analyzer. |
