제목 Nonvolatile Transistor Memory Devices Based on Nanostructured Polymeric Materials
초록 I will present the result of employing the nanostructured polymers as the charge storage layer for OFET memory devices, including nanowires, nanofibers, and nanoparticles. For example, we developed a molecular nano-floating gate of pentacene based transistor memory devices using conjugated polymer nanoparticles (CPN) of polyfluorene (PF) and poly(fluorene-alt-benzo[2,1,3]thiadiazole (PFBT) as the discrete trapping sites. Another example is to use the combination of double floating-gate”, “ambipolar charge carrier trapping”, and “discrete trapping sites” to produce high performance organic nonvolatile transistor memory devices using the heterostructure of the single crystal C60 needles/CuPc nanoparticles. The second part of my talk presents the promising applications of using glucose-based oligo- or polysaccharides and their block copolymers as the charge-storage layer in a transistor-type memory devices for next-generation green memories.
