The pulp biorefinery is a facility that integrates biomass conversion processes and equipment to produce fuel and chemicals from traditional pulp plant. The integrated biorefinery based on a pulp plant is two methods to obtain fermentable sugar and high added-value products. The first study, woodchips of 2g were extracted over the various range of condition in a Dionex ASE-200 on two wood chips. In addition, scale-up extraction was performed 80g chips under pre-optimized through ASE-200. The xmg and acetic acid concentrations of the hardwood extracts were 9.74 and 9.94 g/L, respectively, whereas their concentrations in the softwood extracts were 3.59 and 3.76 g/L, respectively, at 180°C and an H-factor of 900. The second study, black liquor derived from kraft pulping was fractional separation and analysis. For fraction of it, the acid hydrolysis was performed at various combined severity (CS). The maximum concentration of xmg and acetic acid found were 10.7, 10.2 g/L, produced under conditions of pH=0.5 for 40min at 121 °C on the CS of 1.72. |
