제목 Covalent organic framework-derived high porous carbon nanoparticles decorated Graphite felt electrode for All-Vanadium Redox Flow Battery
초록 In this work, a high-performance electrocatalyst, covalent organic framework (COF)-derived high porous carbon nanoparticles is synthesis using the hydrothermal method on the surface of a graphite felt (GF) electrode in an all vanadium redox flow battery (VRB). The prepared COF/ GF electrode exhibit the enhanced electrochemical reactivity and wettability, which successfully improved the overall kinetics of the redox reactions of the vanadium ion species by providing highly active catalytic sites and efficient ion and electron transport pathways.
The energy efficiency is enhanced by~ 7.3 at high current density (150mA.cm-2) compared with pristine GF catalysts. Also cycle performance demonstrates the excellent stability of prepared COF/GF electrode. This resulted in the outstanding performance of VRFB single cells using this material as electrodes.
