제목 Thermal and oxidative degradation of amine-oxide composite for SO2 and CO2 adsorption
초록 The concentration of CO2 in atmosphere has accelerated dramatically due to development of industry and increasing consumption of fossil fuel, which causes adverse climate change. The studies on supported amine adsorbents have been researched to replace the current amine absorber from flue gas. The adsorbent is evaluated in terms of CO2 capacity, kinetics and stability. However, there are only few studies on stability of supported amine so far. In adsorption and desorption process, several factors such as heat, acidic gas, CO2 itself and oxygen (air) could cause degradation for performance of adsorbent. Also, as flue gas contains the acidic gas such as SO2 and NOx which would change the adsorption behavior of adsorbent, the study for SO2 adsorption on amine adsorbent should be needed. In this work, we have studied thermal and oxidative degradation on supported amine such as polyethylenimine and grafted primary, secondary or tertiary amine with respect to adsorption of CO2 and SO2.
