제목 Liquid Crystal Macrodrop Generation by Electrostatic Coacervation between Bacterial Cellulose Nanofibers and amine functionalized PDMS at the interface
초록 Liquid crystal (LC) having specific composition oflipids enhances the epidermal barrier function. Macroemulsions are helpful tovisualize the color of LC, but their stabilization is still challenging becauseof their thermodynamic instabilities. Herein, we proposed enhanced interfacial stabilization system viain-situ coacervation of poly[dimethylsiloxane-co-(3-aminopropyl)methylsiloxane] (amine-PDMS) andalkyl chains-grafted bacterial cellulose nanofibers (C18BCNF) from 2,2,6,6-Tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxylradical oxidizedbacterial cellulose (TOBC). For this, the behaviors between depending on the alkyl chain concentration ofBCNF were characterized. From rheological studies, we observed that ourcoacervated interfacial membrane showed mechanically enhanced modulus comparedto single layer interface by C18BCNF.
