제목 Ion Transport in Self-assembled Phosphonated Block Copolymers Containing Ionic Liquids
초록 Phosphonic acid containing polymers have been considered promising candidates for high-temperature proton exchange membranes owing to their amphoteric characteristic and self-dissociation ability. In this study, we synthesized a new set of phosphonated block copolymers and investigated their phase behavior and ion transport properties upon the addition of various ionic liquids. Phosphonated block copolymers containing ionic liquids showed a rich phase behavior, i.e., hexagonal cylinder (HEX), body-centered cubic (BCC), and A15 lattices, depending on the type of incorporated ionic liquids. In particular, the conductivity of the sample having A15 phase was 72% higher than that of the HEX phase. The morphology factors of A15, BCC, and HEX phases were determined to be 0.83, 0.70, and 0.42, respectively. This implies that the A15 and BCC structures with a three-dimensional symmetry are preferable over the HEX structure to improve the ion transport efficiency.
