The quality of perovskite films with large grain size and good crystallization is important to achieve high efficiency of perovskite solar cells. The annealing procedure is essential to form the perovskite structure from the intermediate phase. Gradient and/or two-step thermal annealing have been designed to increase the grain size for high efficiency. The morphology of perovskites depends crucially on annealing methods, there are many annealing methods including high temperature thermal annealing, multi-step thermal annealing and solvent annealing. In this work, we adopted a microwave irradiation as an annealing method to form perovskite films with large grain size. Herein, we examine the morphology of microwave annealing processed perovskite layers. Scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction measurements were carried out to investigate the morphology and crystallinity of the perovskite layers. We discuss the relationship between the grain size and photovoltaic performance. |
