제목 Influence of additive contents on the morphology of spray-dried α-alumina granules
초록 The granulation is provided for attaining mixing of the starting materials and improving moldability at the molding step. Especially, the spherical granule shape is one of the most significant characteristics in the forming process. For spherical granulation, in this present work, the α-alumina, sodium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide were mixed, and a additive such as binder, dispersant and antifoaming-agent were mixed into the milled matrix powder, and the resulting slurry was granulated with a spray dryer. The parameters of between raw material powders and additives according to those contents were characterized by SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) and XRD (X-ray diffraction)
