In this work, We synthesized the monodisperse Sb doped SnO2 particles with a porous structure as an anode material for Li-ion battery. The metal precursors were introduced in the sulfonated polystyrene microspheres which have the monodisperse and porous structure. After calcination, the porous Sb doped SnO2 microspheres consisting of interconnected Sb doped SnO2 nanoparticles were obtained. ATO(Antimony doped Tin Oxide) microspheres with a porous structure are characterized by SEM, FT-IR, EDS-mapping, EDS, BET, XRD and XPS. We confirmed their electrochemical performances as an anode material for Li-ion battery. The electrochemical performances can expect improvement by controlling the morphology of particles which has the porous structure that mitigated the volume change and the homogeneous particle size that prevent irregular mechanical stress during the lithiation/delithiation process. Therefore, we enhanced cycle performances for Li-ion battery. |
