제목 Dielectric Constants Variations with Various Fillers Addition of Bismuth Glass Matrix for Barrier-Ribs
초록 Plasma display panel(PDP) has attracted much attention for high definition TV because its intrinsic characteristics such at flat, thin and large area display. Recently, the low dielectric constant of barrier rib materials has been considered because it is desirable to prevent cross-talk and to reduce power consumption. Different types of ceramic fillers were added to the Bi2O3-BaO-ZnO-B2O3(BBZB) glass and the resultant various properties were investigated for the application of the composites to the barrier ribs in plasma display panel. This study aims to investigate the effect of different ceramic fillers addition on the dielectric constant(at 1MHz) of BBZB glass matrix system. The present study is mainly focused on the evaluation of dielectric constant by considering a relation between various fillers(Al2O3, ZnO and TiO2 ) and the glass matrix. We characterized the thermal, electrical and sintering properties of the Bi2O3-BaO-ZnO-B2O3 glass system which are widely used in commercial barrier ribs owing to their low firing temperature (below 550℃).
