제목 Comparative study on thermal insulation and mechanical property of polyurethane foams prepared with expanded and expandable microspheres
초록 Polyurethane (PU) foams were prepared with expandable and expanded microspheres, respectively. Expansion behaviors of expandable microspheres in PU matrix were studied at different expansion conditions to synthesize PU foams. It was found that expandable microspheres expanded fully at 150 oC for 8 min or 160 oC for 6 min. Thermal conductivity of these two types of PU foams were measured at 30 oC with transient hot bridge method, and were analyzed with several theoretical models. Thermal and mechanical properties of these two PU foams were comparatively investigated using TGA, DSC, TMA, and UTM.
