Cyclic polymers exhibit distinct properties, such as elevated glass transition temperatures, smaller hydrodynamic volume, and lower intrinsic viscosity than their linear precursor polymers. Recently, cyclic polymers with various architectural topologies have attracted research interest in the past decades since those complex cyclic polymers were expected to give new insight into the understanding physical properties based on their structures. In this study, the well-defined bicyclic block copolymers composed of polystyrene and poly(tert-butyl acrylate) were prepared by combination of atom transfer radical polymerization(ATRP) and “Click” chemistry. The structure of bicyclic polymer was characterized by 1H NMR, FT-IR spectroscopy and SEC. |
