제목 Poly(dopamine) nano particles of different shapes and sizes for multifunctional bio-composite applications
초록 Poly(dopamine) have immerged as a potential material for surface coatings, biomedical applications and adhesives due to presence of neurotransmitter amine and catechol groups in its structure. The present work represents preparation of spherical, flake and cylindrical shape poly(dopamine) nano particles of pure organic or organic-inorganic hybrid natures. Spherical shape carbon (SMCs) nanoparticles of poly(dopamine) with different sizes are prepared and characterized. All poly(dopamine) nano particles are characterized by techniques like Fourier transfer infrared (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), dynamic light scattering (DLS), etc. Applications of the prepared nano particles are possible in fabrication of multifunctional bio-composites which can be used in biomedical applications.
