제목 Fabrication and biofunctionalization of radiopaque and biodegradable polydioxanone/polylactide stent for treatment of esophageal obstruction
초록 In this study, biodegradable polydioxanone (PDO)/polylactide (PLA) stents were prepared with sheath/core PDO/PLA multi-filaments and coated with hyaluronic acid-dopamine conjugate (HA-DA) and barium sulfate (BaSO4) to enhance biocompatibility, tissue-adhesiveness and radiopacity for the treatment of esophageal obstruction. The amount of HA-DA on the surface was quantified using micro BCA assay. Radiopacity of PDO stents coated with BaSO4 was confirmed by X-ray analysis. Tissue adhesiveness, degradation behavior, thermo-mechanical properties, and cyto-compatibility were evaluated in accordance with ISO and ASTM standards. Obtained results unveiled that our PDO/PLA stents coated with HA-DA and BaSO4 can holdpromising benefits such as biocompatible, radiopaque and biodegradable effects.
